I wonder if they're going to end up referring to themselves as "Ethnic Turks".

It's actually about a pack of jokers blabbering bs as they try to revive a dead religion that has absolutely no relevance nor an benefits for Greece in the 21st century. The ancient Greeks believed the earth was the centre of the world with the sun orbiting around it pulled by a chariot ridden by Apollo. This is not what Greece's pagan-revivalists believe in, so what is their purpose apart from being yet another anti-Christian voice (yawn).

it was meant as a joke whoever got it. Greece's neo-pagans refer to themselves as ethnic Hellenes, pls ref http://www.ysee.gr/index-eng.php sooo, hence my remark if the Turkish pagan-revivalists will also refer to themselves as "ethnic" Turks too.

that was one of the theories, others placed the sun as the centre of the solar system....also the Christian religion based on some of the Greek stellar theories, also held this as lore till much later, they even persecuted Galileo and Copernicus for theories against what they held as given... Aristarchus of Samos was the most radical. He wrote a work, which has not survived, on heliocentrism, saying that the Sun was at the center of the universe, while the Earth and other planets revolved around it. His theory was not popular, and he had only one known follower, Seleucus of Seleucia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ptolemaic_system
