Missiles 130 AIM-120 C-7 AMRAAM
for the Greek Air Force

The U.S. Defence Department announced yesterday that July 1 was amended contract stable and unchanged in price between Air Force (USAF) and Raytheon, to give 130 Advanced Air-Air Missiles Middle Range (AMRAAM) AIM-120C-7 in the Greek Air Force, and and 6 Non-Developmental Objects Aerometaferomenes Organologias Units (NDI-AIU) on the German Luftwaffe. The amendment of $ 87.604532 covers Foreign Military Sales (FMS) in Greece and Germany, under the contract Production Lot 21 of the projectile AMRAAM.
At the same time announced a second contract amendment stable and unchanged in price between USAF and Raytheon, for Phase I of Project Substitution Editor in missile AMRAAM. Two microelectronic components of the complex guidance, the Data Processor AMRAAM (ADP) and the Integrated Circuit Exeidikefmenis Implementation (ASIC) Input / Output (I / O) are not manufactured anymore. The Substitution Program Editor replacing obsolete equipment in this part of the complex data processing guidance and amend the supporting material in the projectile and software architecture, to continue production of the AMRAAM. The modification of $ 13,186,604 supports programs FMS Greece and Taiwan
