Dayi, hoptek or kolbastı is a trabzon dance. It's a mixture of traditional Pontian music and central anatolian misket. Lazs are another ethnic group with Turks(ahıska and çepni turks mostly), hemşinlis (muslim armenians), muslim georgians and converted rums in black sea region. People in Turkey are generally using the Laz term for defining everyone from eastern black sea region, but it's not true. "Cideyrum, celeyrum" type of speaking is not Lazca. It's a whole different language closer to Georgian. Laz population lives in Pazar (old name of pazar is Atina ), Çayeli, Fındıklı and Ardeşen in Rize, Arhavi and Hopa in Artvin. Laz folk music is generally based on Tulum. That fast kemençe (lyra) music is far from being Laz. But i really enjoy hoptek.
