Actually Nutuk, I think you'll find that the recipient of the second largest IMF handouts in the world know infinitely more about begging than Greece.

No doubt you can guess which country that is.

Ah nice point. IMF just give credites which have to be payed back while Greece is living on European subsidies, in another word "parasite of Europe". Still Greece has large depts greekturkish/wink kiss.gif

Turkey has large debts too, so I don't know what your point is.
And actually, how do you think the EU has money to fund infrastructure projects across the EU? That's right Nutuk, the money comes from all EU member states. So in a way, Greece is getting back some of the money it contributes.

On the other hand, Turkey also receives EU funds. But Turkey does not contribute any cash like Greece does. So I guess you could say, the real parasite is Turkey.

Imagine the USA giving California or Florida funds. It is providing funding to its states.
The funds it has available to allocate to its states, come from the states them selves(and federal taxes).

Nutuk please do seek help over your complexes.
Greece contributes, and receives.
Turkey does not contribute, but receives.
And this on top of the IMF hand outs and food stamps you get.

And your trying to get a one up on us on this issue? greekturkish/screwy.gif

Why don't you look up how much Greece contribu-*test*-('")o the EU as opposed to how much she receives from the EU and then lets talk about "parasites" ,sparky.

Zeus- 08-27-2008

Turkey has opened up its domestic market to the EU without being able to do the same with its own goods, that a 70million market that europe has profited from at the expense of our companies alot of whom have gone bankrupt because of ecevits move. If the EU gives us a little assistance here and there its nothing in comparison to what our companies have lost.
