Burst your own bubble mate, soon 3 more Turkish companies will come up with new models of APC's. 70 Ejder APC's sold to Georgia, just wait a couple of years and Greece is surrounded by Turkish APC's :)

Than tanks will follow greekturkish/bluebiggrin.gif

do you jerk off with pictures of APC's at nights in your toilet?

I don't know if he does that, but obsession with military equipment has definite sexual undertones, methinks.

This goes for everyone contributing to pissing con-*test*-('")s in the defense forum.

I don't wish to burst your bubbles but here it is:

Actually I'm surprised you picked this one out of all the WWIII cheer leading videos on the tube.

I'm with opti here, this conspiracy is nothing but bullshit. Probably made by a few kids who have a romantic attachment to battle & bloodshed. Side effect of too much Counterstrike, maybe?

1. It wouldn't hurt to study a map once in a while. Turkish APC's sold to Georgia hardly surround Hellas. That statement doesn't make any sense GEOGRAPHICALLY as you can easily see >Here<

I wouldn't rule out the possibility of Macedonia arming up with some Turkish goods in the near future.

We provide A-grade weapons for relatively affordable prices

Nutuk- 08-17-2008
Georgia doesn't surround Greece, but Albania and Macedonia does! Be nice to the Macedonians or they will only purchase more weaponry from us greekturkish/bluebiggrin.gif

Napoleons Grand Armee of 500.000 was at some time the most formidable force on earth. Do you know what happened to it? The German Wehrmacht was the highest motivated, best trained and equipped army of WW II. What happened to it?

My intention for posting that clip had nothing to do with WW III. To the contrary, that clip just illustrates that Russia is a superpower and if it chooses to project power in Georgia it can do so. No one, not even the US, can afford to engage Russia in a full scale war. The consequences would be disastrous for everyone involved and beyond.

Nevertheless, some here seem to think that Turkish made APC's could tip the Balance of power in favor of Georgia. Now that's just silly. Those APC's are not weapons of war, they are good enough to intimidate restive civilians but beyond that they are absolutely useless.

They don't stand a change against even a lightly armed insurgency force. What good were the much heavier Israeli tanks against Russian build anti tank weapons in the hands of Hezbollah in Lebanon? Mind you, the Merkava is a real tank, not just a tin can on wheels.

And as I said before, Hellenic/Turkish antagonisms are not the subject here. Besides, neither the Hellenic nor the Turkish republic are sovereign countries. Both being merely administrative units within the US empire. So whats the point of the Turko-Grecian piss game?

And frankly I would welcome delivery of Turkish APC's to Pseudo-Makedonia. That would help our Makedonsky neighbors to keep their restive Albanian minority in check. Although I doubt that those APC's would prove effective there either.

Who cares if Albania or FYROM buy from Turkey, it's not like they can afford large numbers of anything other then boxes of paper.
Both countries combined don't even spend a billion dollars on defence, actually just short of half a billion, so what are you lot singing and dancing about? The potential to sell a dozen or two apc's to third world countries? greekturkish/laugh.gif

Oooh, I'm sure the Greek military is shaking in its boots at the thought of FYROM or Albania buying a handful of Turkish apcs. What a threat, what a shift in the power of balance that would be. My god, they will storm across the border within a week of getting them.

The main reason why Nutuk's posts are consistently funny is that he basically means every word of what he writes, there's no hint of tongue in cheek.

Keep up the good work Nutuk, keep believing the possible sale of a few third rate Turkish APCs to Greece's neighbours somehow strikes fear into the heart of Athens.

Turkish APC's are just the tip of the iceberg, a begining. greekturkish/sneaky.gif

We don't care about Albania or Macedonia neither, we just need Greece to threathen them. Good for our business, our defence industry needs you.

I'm not sure if you can take on a Hummer with it, though.
