| I don't see what the problem with genociding Turks is? They invaded & in Macedonia for example we threw their grand daddy's dead bodies in Prespa Lakes. Why invade in the first place since we did you no harm? More genociding Turks is an excellent thing - they are a virus to human kind, the lowest of life form - Kurds have the right idea of slaughtering thousands upon thousands of Turks, and there is no end in sight! |

| regardless the person says or not the truth , in my opinion it is highly likely many turks died in the balkans as a result of brutality , i find it very hypocritic from the turks to seek for what other nations did to them when they reject any accusations backed by facts that they did horrible things to non muslims non turkish populations. so you are going to prove your innocence by showing off what other did , two wrongs doesnt make a right in my book. the whole argument is a fucking joke |

http://greekturkish.18.forumer.com/index.p...opic=3187&st=90 b) An equally important parametre is the role of diasporas. It is common knowledge that especially American and Australian diasporas of Armenians, Greeks, Macedonians and Turks alike tend to be more extremist on these issues. Often dettached from the realities of their "homelands" they are swift to demonize the other, ascribe genocide, and preach hatred and segregation (at no cost for their personal predicament may I add). On the other hand Armenians and Rums of Turkey or Greek and Armenian nationals, are generally more promising conloqutors in constructive dialogue, because for them coming to terms with their past can bee seen as a prerequisite for good neighbouring relations, which is in turn a prerequisite for peace, stability and prosperity. |

http://www.antibaro.gr/diplomacy/SARRIS.html A few days ago I was in Tunis on a conference and a Turkish friend colleague, Professor at the University of Istanbul told that a friend of his, Greek from Constantinople -like myself- who left his place of birth and was established in Greece and that in Turkey it was better... I do not question the truthfulness of what my Turkish colleague said. I believe that this is what my Greek fellow-citizen told him. First of all I know that he said these things because he is still scared and he wants to propitiate those who chased him away from his native land. But, apart from that, this story looks like the case of the widow that was beaten up by her husband, tortured by him, and when he died she was crying behind his coffin saying "didn't we have a good life together my hubby". |
