To my knowledge three Kurds were on this forum:

Dirii - took an appeasing and concilitary approach still it did not matter for most Turks here: he was harrassed constantly. (Which the Greek left just watched and did nothing, they are more likely to call me Crusader, Nazi, fanatic as they are a moron club.) Hypothesis: Just identifying as a Kurd, which is against official ideology is enough for most Turks.

Mizgin - very open support of HPG defence forces, banned quickly by Domestos (who to the Greek leftist perception is a progressive). She was banned needlessly just for oppossing the official Turkish ideology and having no concilitary approach to this unreasonable ideology. The most fanatic and well dis-behaved Turkish members almost always take alot serious violations to ban. Assertion: Sure why not especially if you live away from Turks. Why not! May as well just support them, at least give the Turks a fake reason since you will be hated no matter as long as you are a Kurd.

Kurdistani - he was not an average Joe. He made two revelations: that he lunched with Norman Stone and revealed where he gets his views on Armenians from, and he also said he met Kendal Nezen of some Kurdish Institute in Europe. Good likelihood that he is family from North Iraq, strangely the Turks largely accepted him.

Survey reveals divergence among Kurds on Kurdish issue
A recent opinion poll has revealed that there is disagreement among Kurds, rather than only between Turks and Kurds, on the substance of the Kurdish problem in Turkey.

...

"Actually, there are three reasons for this difference [between Kurds living in Western cities among Turks, and those living in the mostly Kurdish South-East]. First of all, our western citizens do not know the Kurdish issue well. Secondly, they are to a great extent under the influence of the official ideology, which has long denied the existence of the Kurdish problem and thirdly, they are afraid of any neighborhood pressure they may be subjected to if they express an idea that indicates the existence of the Kurdish problem," he noted.

In Western cities even a Turkish political scientist admits that Kurds have to hide their view for fear of the national fanaticism of their Turkish neighbors. In this forum it has been no different.

Yes i hate kurds. They have a dark skin and they are way too religious. They can't accept the values of modern living. They are enemies of western culture. They even don't count their sisters when you ask them how many siblings they have. They kill their women for the most funny reasons you can ever hear. They keep doing it even in sweden or in Germany. They keep living as tribes in metropol cities. Sell drugs, attack locals and local culture in anywhere they go. They also killed many Armenians in the past and keep oppressing the returning christian Syriacs in Mardin. I can't even imagine what's gonna happen when they become majority in western cities. There are two cultures in Turkey. Fairly western and progressive kemalist turkish überculture and fanatic islamist, uncivilized and hostile kurdish tribe culture. greekturkish/bluebiggrin.gif greekturkish/hay.gif greekturkish/doner.gif greekturkish/wink kiss.gif greekturkish/jack.gif

Where's Diri and Kurdistani? I read many of their previous posts but there's nothing from them as of late.

What's the big deal with lunching with Norman Stone? He's been teaching in Bilkent for quite some time, & he's a pretty friendly character. I'm sure he'd have a chat with you too if you showed up during office hours. For lunch you may need to be his grad student or a journalist or something like that. Which one was Kurdistani?

domestos- 10-09-2008
Kurdistani is my neighbour. A very cool guy indeed.

He got bored. greekturkish/nixweiss.gif

domestos' post is meant as a joke, and a satire of Nikephoros, as is evident to anyone who is familiar with the guy.

Thanks for your input anyway, and welcome to the forum. May you be a lasting member.

Hmmm...I take it you don't like my country but yet you are considering moving to Istanbul (if you decide to live in Turkiye). Listen, if you don't like my country you can move to Iraq or sweden, wherever you are welcomed most. Fazla otme.

You are miss leading ! HPG is the armed group of PKK. PKK is recognised as a terrorist organisation by Europen Union. Banning PKK is official attitude of Turkey and European Union.

what an ignorance !

according to this comedy; PKK's party in Turkish parliamentary "DTP" who got more than %50 of the Kurdish votes is a fundamental Islamist party !

be a man and do not use Kurdish people in order to express your hatred to our religion Islam.
