1 killed, 9 injured Albanian immigrants in Greece

One Albanian immigrant was killed and another nine were wounded in a police operation in northern Greece.
A 35-year-old driver of a vehicle in which the immigrants were transported was killed by the police.
According to police source, two of the Albanians were heavily injured and all had been ferried to a Thessaloniki's hospital.
The shootout followed a car chase after the vehicle with immigrants on board failed to halt at a road toll stop on the road to Thessaloniki.
The immigrants were charged 600 euros for illegal transport to Thessaloniki, i.e. 1.000 euros to Athens.
