Today is the first day of Ramazan/Ramadan. I am not a very religious lad myself & won't be doing the festing, but those who do, please throw in a few prayers for the lost souls like myself greekturkish/bluebiggrin.gif

Happy Ramadan, be it you're Muslim, Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, Agnostic, Atheist, or just plainly confused.

Today is also the American non-may-the-1st labor day, but I really don't know what to say about that. Enjoy the discounts, I guess.

lol, that's so true, esp. at traffic. But I pitied a guy today who delivered food to my home. He made a mistake and charged me less, I had to shout at him from the window. Fasting this way is surely not so healthy.

God, I can almost smell them just from the picture.

Let's not forget the Güllaç, possibly my fav. all time dessert. To this day I don't understand why this treat is limited mostly to Ramadan, we need a radical movement to make the whole year, "Güllaç time" greekturkish/Yes.gif .

I don't like most of these restaurant recipes & their classic French looks-for-taste trade-off. With Güllaç, it's: the milkier the better.

I think I'm going to try & make some ASAP. It's not a very difficult dessert after all.
