i think there should be a ban on making comments about subjects which are capable of provoking others. e.g. comments made about Ataturk or comments about the whole Macedonia issue

There should be no bans at all on any subject - as long as it is carried with a certain gentlemanship and dignity. If we ban a perfectly discussable subject, we're in effect admitting to ourselves that some of our worldly issues are too hard or too "holy" to face and criticize. That is in my opinion the epitome of cowardice and a character weakness which can be found in many populations throughout the world, and which deprives sensible and rational people from engaging in mutual understanding over problems that lesser men inflate to the most ludicrous proportions.
