Well, my mother's ancestors ended up in Lebanon from Ayntab. My father's actually remained in Iskandaroun for a long while. But sometime in the 1930s or 40s, the Turks annexed it and all the Armenians (and many Arabs) left--most ended up in a refugee camp known as the Sancak camp, which is in Lebanon. It's still around, but I think it might be torn down soon.

But I don't feel bad about being the descendant of displaced people. I decided some time ago that I prefer being in the diaspora. I feel closest to Lebanon and not Turkey or Armenia, and many Lebanese Armenians (as well as Iranian, Jordanian, Palestinian, Syrian, Cypriot, Russian, Greek, etc) will tell you the same thing. Except for perhaps a few of those cyber warriors one encounters on YouTube and such...as if that's how they would behave in real life...

Most Armenians left their refugee camps and became part of their newly adopted countries or emigrated abroad to other countries. I believe that as a descendant of such people it's an obligation to support other refugees--which is why I support the right of return for Palestinian refugees to their homeland, as well as the Azeris to Karabakh.

As naive as this may sound, consider Antep & Turkey your second home, mate.

Again, the lows you are sinking here is similar to what you've always did. With no  intelligent answer to the point I am raising, you resort to citing (some of) the Turks on this forum, as if their views, comments, or insults prove anything. I guess the standard answer would be citing some of the Greek fascism that is thrown around here, including your very own.

You are beyond hilarity.

It is clear to me from reading historical sources, news reports and participation in web-forums that contrary to Greeks:

Turks have a brand of ultra-nationalism that is widespread amongst both the populace and state appartus. A brand of ultra-nationalism that seeks to humilitate, denigrate and at times destroy other neighboring peoples and deprive them of their rights and is anything but good or neighborly. I call this sinister and I never would want to live in Turkey or spend any extended time there since obviously they do not want Greeks there(and work hard to make that so).

Maybe you are not familiar with the concept of corraboration but no fact exists independent of any other. So for example when it is proven that there exist many Turkish stereotypes against Armenians(and Christians in general) and when on this very forum these same negative stereotypes are constantly used by Turkish forumers, I believe that they exist and are fairly widespread! No notion of political correctness or how a people or group ought to act decently based on leftist assumptions(that people ought to be decent) will change this. So, since many negative Turkish stereotypes exist against Armenians and are widespread; many Turks in the forum used the attack by Turkish Grey Wolves on an Armenian cafe in Brussels to prove their hatred for Armenians(once again).

What Greek Fascists you speak of?
Maybe you should see the Youtube Video: antifasist strike greek fascists everywhere
The Greek problem is rampant widespread and choking leftism, not fascism. The problem in Greece is not fascism, the problem is "the fascism of anti-fascism".

Why so much generalizationism?

Nikephoros, you mentioned in your post that Grey Wolves carried out that attack. Not everyone in Turkey is a Grey Wolf or a fascist. Fascist and far-right groups exists, but they exist in many other countries as well.

You make it seem like every Turk wakes up in the morning and asks himself how they can make their minorities' lives miserable. If that were the case, there would be no functioning Armenian churches, schools, and newspapers in Istanbul today...

You're so full of shit. You call the entire Turkish society sinister because of the deeds of some individuals who do not, by any stretch of the imagination, represent Turkish attitude. I don't call the entire population of Greece assholes just because you behave like one. Fuck off, fatass. You got a lot to learn, dipshit.
