You know I still haven't watched it, I might need to just to brush up on my Turk bashing.

KVK1 if you or any other Turk actually read the book you would know he was not "racist" against Turks from the book and not need to discover anything from a journalist interview.

From what I have read on the internet the director Alan Parker wanted to film it in Turkey and probably from his experiences with the wonderful Turkish authorities is from where the film took its tone.

Or maybe we can believe the Turkish conspiracy's and:

Greek and Armenian diaspora did more Turk bashing since they control the world.

The book states some interesting things like that in Turkey all regional courts have to defer to Ankara to have their rulings and decisions approved. Probably the wonderful Kemalist regimes way of imposing homogeneity to all corners of Turkey.

Anyone know if it's coming out in blu-ray? I want to see the Turk bashing in HI-DEF!

Duke, according to you we have raped, killed and massacred you and god knows what/who else. Dont bust our balls now with a bit of music that will supposedly 'chase us to hell'. the reason being it was just a 70's prison exploitation flick dressed up as a serious film.. im sure they are quite embarressed about it now.

If the accused appeals against the ban, case goes to an upper court. If the upper court affirms the decision, accused can appeal again and case goes to the supreme court which is located in Ankara. Can you tell me what's wrong with this cupcake?
