ALL of my relatives are interned here along with friends from other religions. May they all reast in peace. Sadly it wasn't always the case. The Christians have a more mausoleum type of burrial. They had their space and we had ours. As luck would have it, after a while no one gave a shit about the segregation. It was, after all, tahtali koy...wooden village. Now we are all burried there, Turks, Italians, Armenians , Jews and other orthodox peoples.

I read just a little blurb about it and I did not bother to check ith relatives in Mersin. All I can say is that fires are a horrible thing to have to endure. I would not wish it on my worst enemy.
