I thought I would share some pics of my fishing trip with you all. These were taken last weekend. I also have video footage that I will try to publish.





You greeks are everywhere. This is a Greek Restaurant where I had a couple of cold beers with my Dad. I also purchased a Turkish Fisherman's hat here.

Kingfish in sight and hooked. These fish are amazing. Gorgeous to look at and very feisty.



Bagged Kingfish.


Kingfish and Red Snapper. We caught several Grouperfish which we had to release as well as two baby sharks.



Kaya and Father. I landed that kingfish. It weighed 65 pounds and it took me 30 minutes to real that beast in. Of course it was the biggest fish of the trip.

ive been to galveston a million times! I was raised in houston lol

Its getting busier and busier all the time. Next time I will go during the week so I can avoid all the weekenders from Houston.

Great pictures kaya.

We had a Sürmene type 5 meter "taka" in Samsun and we used to go fishing in Black Sea quite often when i was a child. It's now "çingene palamudu" season in Samsun and i really missed fishing. Holding a shaking line is one of the best things a man can experience.

By the way, your father looks like a guy.

Did you fish on a lake or were you on the coast?

We went 60 miles off shore. True deep sea fishing. Fishing on lakes is boring. If you haven't done it, I would highly recommend it.

I've only gone fishing on lakes. That's all we have up here in Ontario. I've only gone fishing a couple of times and the largest fish I caught was probably about a foot long. That was a Bass fish.
