We al know that our prophet Muhammed (PBUH) was the biggest commander of all time that's why I don't put him in list, but who would be nr.1 if Muhammed ( PBUH) would not be in the list?

Fatih Sultan Mehmet:

At the age of 21, he conquered Constantinople, bringing an end to the medieval Byzantine Empire. From this point onward, he claimed the title of Caesar in addition to his other titles.

Salahaddin:

known in English as Saladin, was a 12th-century Kurd ( Turks claim he was Turkish ) ( Arabs claim he was arab à who became Sultan of Egypt and Syria, and a major Muslim political and military leader. At the height of his power the Ayyubid dynasty, which he founded, ruled over Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Hejaz, and Yemen.

He was born in the castle of Tikrit in 532 AH (1137—1138 AD) and died just after dawn on 27 Safar 589 AH (4 March 1193 CE) in Damascus.[1] He is best-known for leading the Muslim armies during the Crusades and recapturing Jerusalem.

Khalid Ibn Velid

Khalid ibn Walid was from the Meccan tribe of Quraish, who opposed Muhammad, and he played a vital role in their victory at the Battle of Uhud. He accepted Islam, however, and joined Muhammad after the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah and commanded various expeditions for him, such as the Battle of Mu'tah. After Muhammad's death, he played a key role in commanding Medinan forces for Abu Bakr in the Ridda wars, the capture of the Sassanid Arab client Kingdom of Al-Hirah, and the defeat of the Sassanid Persian forces during his conquest of the Persian Empire. He then crossed the desert to capture the Byzantine Arab client state of the Ghassanids during his conquest of Roman Syria. Even though Umar later relieved him of high command, he remained the effective leader of the forces arrayed against the Byzantines during the early stages of the Byzantine-Arab Wars. Under his command, Damascus was captured in 635 and the key Arab victory against the Roman Byzantine forces was achieved at the Battle of Yarmuk (636),which led to the conquest of the Bilad al-Sham (Levant).

Alparslan Han

was the second sultan of the Seljuk dynasty and great-grandson of Seljuk, the eponym of the dynasty. He assumed the name of Muhammad bin Da'ud Chaghri when he embraced Islam, and for his military prowess, personal valour, and fighting skills he obtained the surname Alp Arslan, which means "a valiant lion" in Turkish.

my vote goes to Salahaddin, followed by the "conquerer" 3rd. Khalid ibn Velid and 4th. Alparslan.

Wouldn't it be more interesting if we voted for the grea-*test*-('") commander of all time - period? But that wouldn't be interesting for you because the pagans would chew your candidates raw for breakfast.
